We're proud to share that Good Grief has been selected as this year's Austin FC Dream Starter Competition winner, awarded by Austin FC and Q2 for our vision to support families navigating serious illness, caregiving, and loss.

Out of 159 inspiring applicants, Good Grief was chosen to receive the $100,000 grand prize to bring our vision to life and launch tools that make end-of-life care more supportive, easy to navigate, and truly human.

The whole process was such an incredible experience! Of all the applicants, we were initially selected as one of five finalists. Each of the five finalists presented their pitch to the judges and then Good Grief was selected as the overall winner! The cherry on top was receiving the check during half-time of an Austin FC soccer game on May 28th! My family was also able to attend to cheer me on!

We are so thankful for the amazing support and opportunity from Q2 and Austin FC!
